While other electric furnace manufacturers only use thermal insulation inside the furnace, Trane does it differently. They use thermal and acoustic insulation and it is installed in a completely different way. The insulation is inserted between the walls of the furnace panels like a fridge. This then prevents vibration on the components and greatly improves the heat loss from the furnace.

Variable speed motor with Comfort-R mode

Comfort-R mode greatly improves comfort inside your home, instead of starting at full power, the Vortica engine will start gradually to significantly reduce noise in your ducts and every room in the house. When the temperature set point is almost reached, the motor will slowly reduce its speed to give you extremely precise comfort. Comfort-R mode is also used to control humidity in air conditioning. If your air conditioner cools your home too quickly, the temperature sensors will tell the furnace that the cooling is too fast, then the fan motor will reduce the speed to achieve better dehumidification.

Vortica motor

The Vortica motor installed at the factory in the Trane electric furnace is one of a kind, this motor is completely insulated in a composite shell in order to collect the least dust possible and get dirty more slowly to avoid recurrent cleaning. In addition, thanks to this additional protection, the motor is much quieter than most furnace motors on the market.

Isolated control panel
