Heat+ technology
Extreme cold is no match for Moovair heat pumps. HEAT+ technology delivers optimal heat with minimal energy consumption. The Inverter modulates from about 30% of its capacity and rises in 1% increments up to 100%.
Precise temperature control
Moovair heat pumps are equipped with an extremely precise temperature sensor. The compressor communicates directly with the evaporator’s temperature sensor to modulate the cooling or heating power needed.
Inverter technology
Moovair heat pumps feature the latest Inverter technology, which saves energy by reducing the number of compressor stops and starts. Modulation in 1% increments up to its maximum capacity keeps the set temperature efficiently. This innovative technology maximizes both energy efficiency and your comfort.
The heating capacity of Moovair heat pumps
A heat pump’s capacity represents its heat output at different indoor and outdoor temperatures. Moovair heat pumps perform very well at very low temperatures. The Morelis delivers its full heating capacity at −20 °C, and the Meridian at −15 °C.
Heating in extreme cold
The Morelis and the Meridian heat down to −30 °C, the Mistral down to −25 °C. The Morelis still delivers 100 % of its rated heating capacity at −20 °C, and the Meridian at −15 °C, thanks to HEAT+ technology. All have a heated condensate pan that prevents ice build-up.

The Mistral is the most affordable in the M series and heats down to −25 °C. The Meridian heats down to −30 °C with HEAT+ technology, and it is the only series offered up to 33,000 BTU, for large rooms. SEER2 measures a heat pump’s seasonal efficiency in cooling, and HSPF2 its efficiency in heating. The higher these numbers, the less electricity the unit uses for the same comfort. The Moovair wall-mounted range goes from 19.5 to 29.4 SEER2 and from 9.9 to 16.2 HSPF2. The COP at −15 °C, measured by ENERGY STAR, tells how many units of heat the unit produces in extreme cold for each unit of electricity: from 1.80 to 2.54 for the Moovair wall-mounted range. At 2, it delivers twice as much heat as an electric baseboard for the same electricity.
