Base with heating element (Fujitsu CTEB heat pump models only)
Fujitsu’s CTEB series heat pumps, the Orion XLTH and the Orion+ XLTH, have a heating element that produces heat even at extremely low outdoor temperatures. When temperatures drop below freezing, the heating element heats the base of the unit to prevent condensate from freezing. Without a heating element, frozen condensate can generate noise, damage the condenser and outdoor fan impeller, and reduce system performance.

*Some models do not have all the features
Designed to cope with the North American climate, Fujitsu heat pumps have been the most recognized air conditioning and heating devices by Quebecers for more than 30 years. Their various components benefit from superior insulation that allows them to withstand all weather conditions.
Unlike centralized systems, Fujitsu wall-mounted heat pumps do not require an air duct. As you have no energy loss, which can ultimately mean an energy saving of more than 30%. With an efficiency of up to 33.5 SEER2 (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio), Fujitsu air conditioning and heating systems are among the most efficient on the market!
There is reliability, then there is Fujitsu reliability
Fujitsu’s commitment to quality and reliability is based on over 60 years of heating and air conditioning experience and a technology research and development center conducted to the highest and most rigorous standards. . All this effort and knowledge translates into an exceptional and unrivaled performance rate of 99.99%, and reliable systems capable of providing the best performance, even in the most extreme climatic conditions.
Insurance to face the extreme cold of winter
When winter temperatures reach extreme cold, you and your family need a system that performs and is reliable. Fujitsu’s CTEB series outdoor units have been designed to provide comforting and enveloping warmth down to -26 °C, and even down to -30 °C for the Orion+ XLTH. Here’s how :
Metal protection grid
While competitive models are equipped with plastic grilles, Fujitsu’s CTEB heat pumps are equipped with more robust metal grilles, which are therefore more resistant to extreme cold.
Heating element
When temperatures drop below freezing, the built-in heater heats the base of the outdoor unit to prevent condensate from freezing. Without a heater element, frozen condensate can generate noise, damage the condenser and fan blades, and reduce system performance.
Multi-perforated drainage base
The base of the CTEB units is equipped with multiple perforations allowing the flow of condensate melting water.
Rock-solid performance and superior energy savings
Fujitsu heat pumps are designed to help you achieve significant energy savings. Given the constant increase in energy costs and the long heating periods imposed on us by our Quebec climate, it makes perfect sense to opt for the best appliance that can lower your electricity bills as much as possible.
Energy saving program
Fujitsu Airstage air conditioning and heating systems know how to save you money even when you forget. When you leave the room without switching off the appliance, the energy saving program (ESP) is activated and 20 minutes later the selected temperature is increased by 2.2°C in cooling mode and reduced by 4.4 °C in heating mode. When you come home, it returns to the previous working mode and quickly to the programmed temperature. By preventing the device from running unnecessarily, the detector saves energy without you having to think about it.
Fujitsu’s high-power fan
CTEB automatic defrost
When the outdoor temperature is very low and the humidity level is very high, frost may form on the outdoor unit during heating operation, which may reduce the operating performance of the product. In order to protect the product from freezing, the Fujitsu heat pump is equipped with a microcomputer-controlled automatic defrosting function.
If frost forms, the air conditioner stops temporarily and the defrost circuit operates briefly (maximum 15 minutes). The indoor unit control light flashes during this operation. If frost forms on the outdoor unit after heating operation, the outdoor unit will stop automatically after running for a few minutes. Then the automatic defrosting operation starts.
Application of Fujitsu ductless wall-mounted heat pumps
Fujitsu wall-mounted heat pumps provide cooling in summer and heating in winter for optimal comfort all year round. Both indoor and outdoor units feature DC motors (variable), superior performance and very quiet operation. These systems owe their unparalleled performance to the high efficiency fan blades, evaporator and condenser paired with a Airstage Inverter variable speed compressor.
The latter automatically adjusts the power of the device according to fluctuations in the demand for air conditioning or heating, for increased comfort in all seasons. Designed for individual rooms, these systems are the ideal solution for any space requiring air conditioning or heating.
Before buying your Fujitsu wall-mounted heat pump
Fujitsu wall-mounted air conditioners and heat pumps are specially designed to provide for people who do not have ventilation ducts in their homes. If you have electric baseboard heaters to heat your home during the winter, you probably don’t have air conditioning to cool your home during the hotter summer days.
A wall-mounted air conditioner can be installed practically anywhere and does not require any renovation after the work. There are many brands of air conditioners available in Quebec. However, these are not always reliable devices. It is for this reason that you have to be careful when thinking about purchasing a heat pump. In addition, you must ensure that the contractor carrying out the work has all their licenses.
Up to $2,688 in LogisVert rebates
