Heat+ technology
Extreme cold is no match for Moovair heat pumps. HEAT+ technology delivers optimal heat with minimal energy consumption. The Inverter modulates from about 30% of its capacity and rises in 1% increments up to 100%.
Precise temperature control
Moovair heat pumps are equipped with an extremely precise temperature sensor. The compressor communicates directly with the evaporator’s temperature sensor to modulate the cooling or heating power needed.
Inverter technology
Moovair heat pumps feature the latest Inverter technology, which saves energy by reducing the number of compressor stops and starts. Modulation in 1% increments up to its maximum capacity keeps the set temperature efficiently. This innovative technology maximizes both energy efficiency and your comfort.
The heating capacity of Moovair heat pumps
A heat pump’s capacity represents its heat output at different indoor and outdoor temperatures. Moovair heat pumps perform very well at very low temperatures. The Myriad+ delivers up to 100 % of its rated heating capacity at −20 °C, and heats down to −30 °C.
Heating in extreme cold
The Myriad+ heats down to −30 °C and keeps up to 100 % of its rated heating capacity at −20 °C, thanks to HEAT+ technology. The Myriad heats down to −25 °C. Both have a refrigerant leak detection system that protects the compressor.

Which Moovair multi-zone heat pump should I choose: Myriad or Myriad+?
The Myriad is the standard series: it heats down to −25 °C and reaches 25.1 SEER2. The Myriad+ is designed for cold climates: with HEAT+ technology, it heats down to −30 °C and delivers up to 100 % of its rated heating capacity at −20 °C. Both come from 18,000 to 47,000 BTU. How many rooms can a Moovair multi-zone heat pump serve?
Up to 6: depending on its capacity, the outdoor unit powers up to 3 indoor units (18,000 BTU), 4 (27,000 BTU), 5 (36,000 BTU) or 6 (47,000 BTU), and each zone is controlled independently. Moovair offers six styles of indoor units: Meridian wall unit, ducted unit, 1-way cassette, 4-way cassette, console and air handler.

What do SEER2, HSPF2 and COP mean?
SEER2 measures a heat pump’s seasonal efficiency in cooling, and HSPF2 its efficiency in heating. The higher these numbers, the less electricity the unit uses for the same comfort. With ductless indoor units, the Moovair multi-zone range goes from 23 to 25.1 SEER2 and from 9.5 to 11 HSPF2. The COP at −15 °C, measured by ENERGY STAR, tells how many units of heat the unit produces in extreme cold for each unit of electricity: from 2.00 to 2.30 for the Moovair multi-zone range. At 2, it delivers twice as much heat as an electric baseboard for the same electricity.
How do I maintain a Moovair multi-zone heat pump?
Clean each indoor unit’s filters every month, keep the outdoor unit clear of snow, ice and leaves, have the system cleaned once a year and have it inspected by a professional every 2 to 3 years. We offer wall-mounted air conditioner cleaning.
